Property of married person exempt from debts of spouse incurred before marriage
In plain English
If someone gets married, their property cannot be taken to pay off debts that their spouse had before the marriage. The only exception is property that one spouse got from the other spouse.

451.270. Property of married person from debts of spouse incurred before marriage. — A spouse's property, except such as may be acquired from the other spouse, shall be exempt from all debts and or incurred by his or her spouse before their marriage.
