Verified pleadings, form and content

In plain English

When a legal paper in a divorce or family law case needs to be 'verified,' the person signing it goes before an official who can give oaths (like a notary). That official stamps and signs a certificate on the paper to confirm it was signed properly. That is all that is needed to make a document count as verified.
