Court may authorize persons holding money of married person to pay spouse

In plain English

A court can order someone who is holding money or property that belongs to a married person to hand it over to that person's spouse instead. The spouse can then sign off on receiving it, and that sign-off counts just as much as if the original owner had signed it themselves.
