Proceedings on such petition
When someone files this kind of petition, the court handles it the same way it handles other cases. A spouse cannot appeal the court's decision to a higher court until that spouse has paid back the other person for any extra costs and delays caused by the appeal, in whatever way the court decides is fair.
452.250.
