Notice for exercise of jurisdiction

In plain English

When a Missouri court needs to tell someone about a case but that person lives in another state, the court can contact them using Missouri rules or the rules of the state where that person lives. The notice has to be sent in a way that will actually reach the person, but if nothing else works, it can be posted publicly. If the person already agrees to be part of the court case, no notice is needed.
