Duties of initiating tribunal

In plain English

When someone files paperwork to get child or spousal support from another state or country, the local Missouri court sends that paperwork to the correct court in the other place. If Missouri does not know which court to send it to, it sends the paperwork to a state agency and asks them to pass it along. If the other court asks for extra documents or information, the Missouri court provides them. If the other place is a foreign country, Missouri also converts the support amount into that country's money using the current exchange rate.
