Duties of state information agency
The Family Support Division in Missouri's Department of Social Services is in charge of helping other states find people who owe child support or other support payments. It keeps lists of courts and agencies that handle support cases, shares those lists with other states, passes along paperwork from other states to the right Missouri court, and helps track down where a person who owes support lives or owns property in Missouri.
454.1575. Duties of . — (a) The within the of social services is the state information agency under sections 454.1500 to 454.1728.
(b) The state information agency shall:
(1) compile and maintain a current list, including addresses, of the s in this state which have under sections 454.1500 to 454.1728 and any support agencies in this state and transmit a copy to the state information agency of every other state;
(2) maintain a of names and addresses of tribunals and support enforcement agencies received from other states;
(3) forward to the tribunal in the county in this state in which the who is an individual or the resides, or in which the obligor's property is believed to be located, all documents concerning a under sections 454.1500 to 454.1728 received from another state or a foreign country; and
