Assistance with discovery

A Missouri court can ask courts in other states to help gather information or evidence for a case. A Missouri court can also force someone under its authority to follow a discovery order that came from a court in another state.

454.1599. Assistance with . — A of this state may:
(1) request a tribunal outside this state to assist in obtaining discovery; and
(2) upon request, a person over which it has to respond to a discovery issued by a tribunal outside this state.
