Procedure to register child support order of foreign country for modification
When someone wants to change a child support order that came from another country (but not through a special international agreement called the Convention), they can officially file that order in Missouri first. They can ask to change it at the same time they file it, or later. They have to explain why they want it changed.
454.1677. Procedure to of foreign country for . — A or seeking to , or to modify and , a foreign child support order not under may register that in this state under sections 454.1632 to 454.1653 if the order has not been . A may be filed at the same time as a request for , or at another time. The must specify the grounds for modification.
