Enforcing a support order from another state, response to a request, contents of the request
When one state asks Missouri to help collect child support payments, Missouri's child support division uses its automatic computer systems to try to collect the money, then tells the other state what happened. Neither state has to take over the other's case. When Missouri asks another state for help, it sends over information so the other state can look it up in their records, and Missouri confirms how much money is owed and that proper steps were followed.
