Relief may be sought for child for domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault
A parent or guardian can file paperwork in court to get a protection order for a child who has been hurt, stalked, or sexually assaulted. If a child leaves home to get away from the violence, that does not hurt the child's chances of getting help. A protection order given to a child works everywhere in the state, in every city and county.
