Jurisdiction for orders
A court stays in charge of a protection order for children for as long as the order lasts. The court can hold check-in hearings to make sure the person the order is against is following the rules. If that person breaks the order on purpose, the court can punish them the same way it punishes someone who disobeys a court's direct command.
