Proceedings reopened, when

Random law
In plain English

After a court decides how to handle a deceased person's estate, that decision is mostly final. But there are three exceptions. First, it can be reopened within six months of the first public notice if a will is found that was not shown to the court before. Second, it can be changed if there is a good enough reason, as set out in another law. Third, the court's finding that a person is dead is never fully final — it can always be questioned later.
