When a court sends out a special legal notice called a scire facias to make a surety (someone who promised to pay if another person didn't), that notice can be sent anywhere in the state. If the surety does not give a good reason to stop it, the court orders that surety to pay whatever money is still owed, plus court costs.
473.580. Proceedings on . — The scire facias may be directed to and in any county in this state, and if, upon thereof, to the contrary is not shown, the court shall against the for the amount unpaid and and therefor.
