Inventory of property by independent personal representative
When someone dies, the person put in charge of handling their estate (called an independent personal representative) has 30 days to make a list of everything the dead person owned. That list has to include what each item was worth when the person died, and whether any money was owed on it (like a loan). The list gets filed with the court, and anyone with a stake in the estate can ask for a copy.
