Foreign wills, recorded when, evidence

If someone's will was approved in another state, a certified copy of that will can be filed and recorded in Missouri. That copy can also be used as evidence in court, just like a will that was made and approved in Missouri.
Word-for-word law
474.370. Foreign wills, when, evidence. — copies of wills, in another state, and the thereof, shall be recorded in the same manner as wills and proved in this state, and shall be admitted in evidence in the same manner and with like effect.
