Estate delivered by resident conservator to foreign guardian or conservator, when

Random law
In plain English

If someone who has a court-appointed money manager (conservator) in Missouri actually lives in another state, and that other state already has someone legally in charge of their affairs, a Missouri court can order the Missouri money manager to hand over all the person's property to the out-of-state person in charge. The court looks at what is best for the protected person before making this decision. Once the handover happens and a receipt is signed, the Missouri money manager and their financial backers are off the hook for that property.
