Relation to Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act
Missouri's own electronic signature rules take the place of the federal electronic signature law in most cases. But two parts of the federal law still apply: one part about consumer protections and one part about certain important notices that cannot be sent electronically.
475.552. Relation to in Global and Commerce Act. — Sections 475.501 to 475.555 , limit, and the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7001, et seq., but does not modify, limit, or supersede Section 101(c) of that act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7001(c), or authorize of any of the notices described in Section 103(b) of that act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7003(b).
