If someone is from a country that is at war with the United States, they may not be able to use Missouri courts during that time. The law says the time that the war lasts does not count toward the deadline a person has to file a lawsuit or make a legal claim.
516.210. Time not to be computed during a war. — Whenever any person shall be to in the courts of this state by reason of his being an , subject or citizen of any country at war with the United States, the time of the of such war shall not be any part of the respective periods limited in sections 516.010 to 516.200 for the making of an or the of any .
