If a court order (called an injunction) stops someone from filing a lawsuit, the time that order is in effect does not count against the deadline to file that lawsuit. The clock basically pauses while the injunction is active.
516.260. Suit by , time not computed. — Whenever the of any suit shall be stayed by an injunction of any court or officers to the same, the time during which such injunction shall be in force shall not be any portion of the time in sections 516.010 to 516.370 limited for the commencement of such suit.
