Complaint, contents

In plain English

When someone buys land or a rental property, they can file a legal complaint to get the property back from a tenant. The complaint needs to explain who originally rented the place, what the rental terms were, and how the new owner got the property. At the court hearing, if the new owner can show they got the property through proper legal paperwork from the original landlord, they can take back possession of the property and collect any unpaid rent that piled up after they bought it.
