Injunction and damages for interference with lawful hunting and trapping

Random law
In plain English

If someone messes with a person's legal hunting or trapping, a court can step in two ways. First, a court can issue an order telling that person to stop the interference. Second, a court can make the troublemaker pay money to the hunter or trapper for losses caused — including wasted money spent on licenses, travel, guides, and gear. The court can also add extra punishment money on top of that.
