Special victims
A 'special victim' does not have to share their home address in open court — they only tell the judge privately. A special victim can also file court papers using just their initials instead of their full name, if they believe sharing their name would put them in danger.

2. Any special victim as defined under section 565.002 may file a petition with the court alleging in any degree by using his or her identifying initials instead of his or her legal name if said petition alleges that he or she would be endangered by such disclosure.
