Regulation by municipalities permitted

In plain English

A city or town can make rules about the use of air-powered guns (like BB guns or pellet guns) if the area is crowded enough that shooting them could be dangerous. Kids under 12 must have an adult watching them when using these guns on public property. Kids 12 and older can use them with a parent or guardian's permission in approved places or on private property with the owner's permission. No city rule can ban the use of these guns at approved shooting ranges.
