Denial of application, right of appeal
If a sheriff says no to someone's application for a Missouri lifetime or extended concealed carry permit, that person has 30 days to appeal. The appeal goes to small claims court. If the court decides the person should have gotten the permit, the court orders the sheriff to issue it. If someone is unhappy with the small claims court's decision, they can ask for a brand new trial.
