Peace officer's and conservation agent's powers to enforce

In plain English

A peace officer who thinks someone is breaking certain laws about land or property can tell that person to stop. If the person does not stop when told, that is a class A misdemeanor, which is a serious crime. Law enforcement officers must enforce these rules, and conservation agents can also enforce them and arrest people who break them. These rules do not apply to landowners or others who are legally allowed to be on the land and doing lawful things there.
