Possession of prescription medication on school property
A person under 21 years old is not allowed to have prescription medicine on school property or a school bus unless they have a valid prescription for it. This does not apply to medicine that has controlled substances in it — that is covered under a different law. School staff who are allowed to store or hand out medicine are not breaking this rule. Emergency workers can still use prescription medicine in an emergency. Breaking this rule is a small crime, but the punishment gets bigger if someone does it more than once.
