Flight log records after flight, open public records for elected members of executive and legislative branches
Flight records and logs for any trip taken by an elected state official — from either the executive branch (like the governor) or the legislative branch (like state lawmakers) — must be available for the public to see. This only applies to flights on planes owned by the state.
610.175. Flight log records after flight, for elected members of executive and es. — Any records or flight logs pertaining to any flight or request for a flight after such flight has occurred by any elected member of either the executive or legislative branch shall be open public records under this chapter, unless otherwise provided by law. The of this section shall only apply to a flight on a state-owned plane.
