Employee not entitled to benefits, when
If a worker hides or stays away on purpose to avoid getting paid, or refuses to take their pay when it is properly offered to them, that worker does not get the extra benefits described in these laws for the time they were avoiding payment.
290.120. Employee not entitled to s, when. — No such servant or employee who secretes or absents himself to avoid payment to him, or refuses to receive the same when fully , shall be entitled to any benefit under sections 290.110 and 290.120 for such time as he so avoids payment.
