Action by employees for breach of employment contract

If a worker was hired for a set period of time and gets fired early without a good reason, that worker can sue the employer for money lost because of that firing. This lawsuit can be combined with a lawsuit for unpaid wages.

290.130. by employees for . — Any such servant or employee whose is for a , and who is before the expiration of such time, may, in addition to the prescribed by this law, have an action against any such employer for any he may have by reason of such , and such action may be with an action for unpaid wages and penalty.
