Records required to be kept by service agents, time period
People who are licensed to handle vehicle title paperwork must keep certain records for three years. These records include the date of the title application, the owner's name and address, the vehicle maker, the vehicle ID number and year, the type of vehicle, and the odometer reading. Law enforcement and department representatives can look at these records during normal business hours.
301.116. s required to be kept by agents, time period — records open for inspection. — 1. Every shall maintain for three years a record of:
(1) Date of of of vehicles;
