Biennial registration, requirements, fee

Random law
In plain English

Missouri car owners can sign up to renew their vehicle registration every two years instead of every one year. Even-model-year cars renew in even years, and odd-model-year cars renew in odd years. The owner pays two years of fees at once and must show the same paperwork required for a regular renewal, including a tax receipt, proof of insurance, and a recent inspection. Once a person picks the two-year option, they have to keep it for the full two years.
