Cooperation in reciprocal agreements with public service commission

Two Missouri government groups — the motor vehicle commission and the public service commission — work together to make agreements with other states. But the rules about vehicle registration are kept completely separate from the rules about public service fees. They do not mix.

301.279. Cooperation in with . — The shall cooperate with the public service commission in the matter of negotiating and entering into reciprocal agreements as provided for under sections 301.271 to 301.279 and as provided for by section 386.220, but the and agreements as to concerning motor shall be separate and distinct from and not governed by any provisions or agreements as to reciprocity concerning public service commission fees and charges.
