Stolen license plate tabs, replacement at no cost, when, procedure, limitation
If someone's license plate tabs get stolen, they can get replacement tabs for free. They can get up to two sets of two tabs per year. To get the free replacements, the person has to fill out a sworn statement, signed in front of a notary, saying the tabs were stolen.
301.301. Stolen s, replacement at no cost, when, procedure, . — Any person replacing a stolen license plate tab may receive at no cost up to two sets of two license plate tabs per year when the for the replacement tab is accompanied with a verifying that such license plate tab or tabs were stolen.
