Title designations may be reviewed by department of revenue
The department of revenue can look over how vehicles are labeled on their title papers. If a vehicle gets a special label on its title — like being marked as salvage or rebuilt — that label stays on the title forever. Every new title made for that vehicle in the future will also show that same label.
301.573. designations may be ed by . — The may review all title designations. Any designation described in section 301.190 or 301.227, placed on a or issued section 301.190 or 301.227, shall remain on the certificate of ownership or title, and any and all subsequent s of ownership or title issued for that vehicle shall carry such designation on the face of such certificates of ownership or title.
