If someone does not turn in their driver's license or chauffeur's license when they are supposed to, the director can send a state highway patrol officer or other police officer to take the license away and bring it back to the director.
302.415. Failure to surrender s, certain may . — If a person shall or refuse to surrender all , as provided for in sections 302.400 and 302.405, the shall direct the state patrol or any peace or police officer to secure thereof and such license or licenses to the director.
