Commercial vehicles licensed for eighteen thousand pounds or less not to stop at weigh station or be otherwise identified
Big trucks have to stop at weigh stations to get checked. But if a truck is licensed for 18,000 pounds or less, it does not have to stop unless a police officer or inspector tells it to. Trucks can also be checked without stopping if the state uses approved technology to scan them. If someone skips a weigh station and their truck turns out to be too heavy, they can be punished.
