Financial interests in distillery in close proximity to a recreational resort
A store or resort that sells alcohol can also have a financial interest in a distillery nearby, as long as the resort has a restaurant, at least 30 overnight rooms, and outdoor activities like fishing or golf. The distillery must be close to the resort. Alcohol made at that nearby distillery can be sold at the resort without following the usual rules about where retailers buy their alcohol, but all other alcohol sold at the resort still has to be bought the normal way. The resort distillery can also sell its alcohol to licensed wholesalers, but it cannot have any financial interest in a Missouri wholesaler.
