Warning sign displayed, liquor licenses
Anyone in Missouri with a license to sell or serve alcohol must put up a warning sign at their place of business. The sign has to be at least 11 by 14 inches and say 'WARNING: Drinking alcoholic beverages during pregnancy may cause birth defects.' It must be placed where people can easily see it. If a business does not follow this rule, a liquor control worker can report it and the business owner gets a warning — but breaking this rule is not a crime.
