Definitions

In plain English

This law defines the words used in Missouri's rules about time-share plans. A time-share plan is when someone pays to use a vacation property (like a hotel room, cabin, or condo) for a set period each year, for more than three years total. The definitions also cover things like exchange programs (swapping time with other time-share owners), sweepstakes used to sell time-shares, and prizes used to get people to attend sales presentations.
