Law not applicable, when
This law lists three types of buyers clubs that do not have to follow the buyers club rules. The first is a club where each person pays no more than fifty dollars total for the whole time they are a member. The second is a club that is not run for profit and only offers discount buying as a small extra perk, not as its main purpose. The third is a club that files a sworn statement with the attorney general saying it does not ask for or take money upfront before services are given.
407.676. Law not applicable, when. — Sections 407.670 to 407.679 shall not apply to:
(1) Any in which the total paid by each buyer in any manner whatsoever for does not exceed fifty dollars over the expected life of the contract;
(2) Any buyers club in which persons receive discount buyer services incidentally as part of a package of services provided to or available to such individual on account of his membership in such organization, which is not organized for the profit of any person or or which does not have as one of its primary purposes or businesses the of discount buying services; and
(3) Any buyers club which files with the office of the a declaration, under by the owner or manager of such club, stating that the club does not require, or in the ordinary course of business, receive .
