Filing agreement of power of attorney with court
If a custody or child support case is already open in court for a child, any agreement or power of attorney made about that child's care must be turned in to that same court within a reasonable amount of time. When turning it in, the person also needs to include the case number and the name of the court case.
452.1222. agreement of with court. — An agreement or power of attorney under sections 452.1214 to 452.1222 must be filed within a reasonable time with any court that has entered an on or child support that is in effect concerning the child who is the subject of the agreement or power. The case number and heading of the pending case concerning custodial responsibility or child support must be provided to the court with the agreement or power.
