Temporary visitation

In plain English

Missouri courts can help enforce visitation rules from other states, even if Missouri does not have the power to change the main custody case. If another state has a custody order but no set visitation schedule, a Missouri court can make a temporary visitation order. That temporary order lasts only until the person gets a proper order from the state that has full control over the custody case, or until the time the Missouri court set runs out.
