Public administrator, duties after expiration of term

Random law
In plain English

When a public administrator's time in office ends, they have to wrap up or hand off all the estates they were managing. In some counties, they get up to a year after their replacement takes over to finish up final paperwork, and anything that can't be finished must be handed to the new administrator within 60 days after that. In counties where the public administrator gets a salary, they have to hand everything over before they leave office.
