Liability for damages caused by riotous assemblage

If someone is part of an illegal or violent mob, that person can be held responsible for any harm or damage the mob causes — even if someone else in the mob did the actual damage.

537.130. for caused by . — Any person or persons forming a part of an or riotous assemblage shall be for any damage to person or property caused by the acts of such assemblage, or of any person or persons connected therewith.
