Delayed effective date for certain sections in H.B. 2637 & 3155 and S.B. 999, 2026
This law says that certain changes to Missouri laws about crimes and other topics will not take effect right away. Instead, those specific changes will start being the law on July 1, 2027.
565.019. Delayed for certain sections in H.B. 2637 & 3155 and S.B. 999, 2026. — The of sections 565.002, 565.050, 565.052, 565.054, 565.056, 565.072, 565.073, 565.074, 565.076, 565.090, 565.091, 565.225, and 565.227 and the of sections 27.117, 565.260, 565.400, and 565.405 of this act* shall become effective on July 1, 2027.
