Most employers and workers in Missouri are covered by this workers' compensation law. Employers have to provide compensation, and employees have to accept it, unless the law says otherwise.
287.060. Employers and employees affected by this act. — Every employer and every employee, except as in this chapter otherwise provided, shall be subject to the of this chapter and respectively to furnish and accept as herein provided.
