If the federal government changes its rules about unemployment benefits, Missouri will automatically follow those new rules — but only as much as needed so that Missouri businesses can get the biggest possible tax break on their federal unemployment taxes. State to comply with minimum standards prescribed by federal law. — If the , the or other related federal laws are amended to provide minimum standards for the payment of , such standards shall become a part of this law to the extent necessary to entitle employers subject to this law to the maximum allowable against the federal unemployment tax.
