This law is about a special license plate for disabled veterans. The director of revenue gives out license plates that say 'Disabled Veteran' along with a registration number. A special advisory committee decides what the plate looks like, but the plate must use reflective material, have a common color and design, be easy to see at night, and look nice. If the veteran also has a physical disability, the plate must include the international wheelchair symbol.
301.073. s, how d, form of. — The shall thereupon issue s, a number and the words " Veteran". The established in section 301.129* shall determine the characteristic features of the license plate, except that such license plate shall be made with with a common color scheme and design, shall be clearly visible at night, and shall be aesthetically attractive, as prescribed by section 301.130, and such plate shall include the when the is as defined in section 301.142, as such symbol is placed on license plates described in section 301.142.
