Special mobile equipment exempt

Random law
In plain English

Special mobile equipment (like big work machines) can be driven on public roads to move between job sites, storage, repair, or delivery without needing a title, registration, or license plate. However, it still has to follow other vehicle laws. Non-farm special mobile equipment cannot be driven on state roads on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays unless there is an emergency. There is an exception: if the equipment can keep up with posted speed limits, stays within weight limits, and does not exceed size limits, it can be driven on state roads any day of the week.
